So who's in lockdown right now? and what are you hatching?

Holy smokes! I am loving this new suro 20, so far I have 3 out of 3 Orloffs, one out of one speckled sussex, two for two of my Mille fleur cochins, I lost count on the blue and black mottled d'uccle chicks, and a spangled oeg. Still have three eggs with pips to go. Only two eggs with nothing happening.
Wow, never done this good before.

I did figure out how to get the humidity up on that incubator, I put a damp paper towel under the black tray so that part of it is sticking down in the water wells. This wicks out the water and allows more surface area to increase humidity. It will jump up quite a bit when the first one hatches too.

The first two hatches I had were early so I'm a little nervous this one hasn't started yet. Maybe it was running too warm before and now its not.

edited to add - oh yeah I'm hatching barnevelders, buckeyes, silkies and a few EE welsummer crosses.

I'm still in lockdown I guess. Mine started early. I noticed pips as I transfered eggs from turner to screen on Sunday to start LD. I have had 13 hatch and I thought that was it then 1 last night. It is starting to smell so I don't know how long to continue, 9 eggs left. I have 7 salmon faverolles and 7 mixed from my flock, 1 is a turkin, yea!

and now stupidly Im blaming BYC god knows what im doing ive just brought some SALMON FAVEROLLE hatching eggs god im hooked i dont need anymore eggs i was only trying it out to begin with

Fairybee I'm hooked with ya! I purchased fav eggs and so far I have 9 hatched out of 13. I'm giving the others another day to be sure. But that is a great percent for me since it is only my second time setting eggs.

sorry for jumping in so late but i got about 10 bantam cochin/ee eggs and today is day 18..im hoping i have atleast 5 or 6 hatch.. also have serveral games eggs due sunday, which today is lockdown for them..
