So who's in lockdown right now? and what are you hatching?

Oh I am!!! So far I have 5 pips!!!

And they are cheeping alot!!! This is my first hatch!!

Day 20 just started a few hours ago. I have 12 Bcms and am testing out my new Suro 20. Have not seem any eggs rock yet and i have not candled due to they are so dark. I have temp at 99.5 and humidity at 65. They need to wait untill friday evening so my granddaughter can watch them hatch.

Good luck, everyone! My crew is all happy in their brooder now: total is 3 goslings and 5 ducks. Yay! Best of all, I cleaned out the bator and reloaded it with 28 Swedish Blue duck eggs last night.

BTW: I stop turning my geese on day 26. Turned out to be a good thing, because I actually had pips that same day. All goosie babies were out by day 28!

Well, this evening is day 21......NOTHING!!!! I'm using my octagon 20 this time, not my home-made incubator, so I thought by now I'd have a more traditional hatch...........Boy- "patience when I'm waiting for something" is not my virtue!



My humidity is pretty rock steady at 62% is that okay?





As I'm writing this, I have a pip in one of my BLRW eggs!!!!!



I really wish that I had room on my octagon to put these egg-carton style- as that's the way they were throughout days 1-18 because of funky air cells...........

I'm in lock down with only 2 ramaining eggs. They are long tails. ONe of them I doubt will hatch because I think it's dead but i'm hoping it isn't. The other will hatch. They are due tomorrow.
