Just got some diamentatios earth, which I haven’t used before also some probiotic vitamins, in case of sickness,

what I worried about was that you said you give vitamins "in case of sickness." For birds that are healthy, additional vitamins are not necessary.

@rosemarythyme I guess you and I read that differently. I took it as buying vitamins now, to use if a chicken gets sick (rather than waiting for a chicken to get sick, and then running to the store.) That sounded like a good idea to me. But it looks like you thought the vitamins were to be used all the time, in hopes of preventing sickness. I agree that's not a good idea.
