Soap makers Soap SWAP!

Will everyone be wrapping and labeling their own soaps? Will they be selling the soaps? I sell mine and most of my customers will want info on the soaps.

Thanks for the reminder. I was going to ask the same question and entirely forgot after having counted how many bars I got and that I will more then likely need more. If my head wasn't attached to my shoulders I would have lost it a long time ago.

sure we can put a soap name and stuff in with our soap bars I have never wrapped mine.. dont really know how but I will put a name in with them and say what is in them.. then again it might just be easier to put a label on them.. not sure what I am going to do yet with my soap.

Something to think about........

I sold soap wholesale one time to a lady that owned an antique shop. She unpackaged my soap (in order to cut smaller pieces) and repackaged it into plastic zip lock bags with tacky silk flowers on it. She then applied my label back on it. I was horrified to think that everyone who saw my soaps thought that I had packaged it that way. I have a reputation to maintain as I sure most of you do too. Just wanted to put that out there.

I wish I knew how to make soap. I will learn some day but it seems like any one who makes soap wont let me come learn from them why is that? any one here wanna show me how to make soap? live in alaska? wink!!! sounds like a fun swap!!!

The small flat rate box for $4.95 is about the size of a VCR tape (5-3/8” x 8-5/8” x 1-5/8”) and they don't like bulging packages on the flat rate. It might hold 4 or 5 soaps but not the amount we have.

I think we should go with the 11" X 8.5" X 5.5" box.

I always order shipping boxes from USPS.

I just got one of these boxes today and I can only fit three 5 1/2 oz. bars in it. We are definately going to have to use the bigger ones.

I'm going to lable mine, won't be great but I'm going to play with 'em a bit. I was going to put the soap name, size, ingreadients and my name on them.

And these soaps are for personal use, right? They're not for resale?
