Solution: Feed/Water babies without the rest of the flock eating chick starter

Just thought I'd share. My broody hens babies are hatching and I wanted them to be incorporated into the rest of the flock, however, I didn't want to have to feed 32 full grown birds expensive chick starter or have them drinking all the Quick-Chick. Here's the solution I came up with. Enclosing the chicks feed/water with 2” x 4” wire. Works like a charm! The chicks are able to pass through freely and the big birds are kept out.

The feeders isn’t the solution. The cage around the feeders is the solution.
