Sorry to hear about your first little guy. I had 75% humidity and my rings stayed together.Might depend on the brand of T.P for a hardier cardboard roll (LOL)? Tape is a good idea. My water container is underneath hardwear cloth so theres no contact with water at anytime, but i might advance to putting a thin duct tape strip around the outside of the rings diameter just in case. Thanks for the upgrade idea!

I think at least regular tape with the humidity will let loose...I say duct tape all around

Someone told me to use a small coffee filters to lay the eggs in, I would think they would get soggy?

i think the rings are a great idea and i will use them in up-coming hatch for sure.
