74F is fine for the room but yes we really need to know what the temperatures are like in the hottest area of the brooder as well as the cooler area.

Please also measure the box. An "average sized box" tells me nothing about how much room there is and what the temperatures are inside the box. There needs to be both a warm area around 90-95F for 1 week olds, and a cool area at least 10 degrees or more cooler, for them to escape from heat.

Also please don't take this the wrong way, but in the future you really want to have the brooder set up a week or so before you get chicks so you can adjust placement and temperature before the chicks arrive.

A photo would be more helpful with the set up. How hot is it during the day and night (ambient) in the location where the box is set? Do you have a thermometer? If so what is the temperature closest to the heat source in the box AND away from the heat source but still in the box?

Can you buy a heat lamp if needed?

Do NOT cover the box with a blanket - you need ventilation and light. The box should be SECURELY covered with an open wire mesh lid.

You mentioned your family might kick the box by accident - that makes me concerned that the box is too small, or needs to be placed somewhere else. It needs to be big enough for the chicks as well as food and water and heat, and secure so that the chicks don't escape and nothing gets to them either.
Here

If it helpful I put a small oven I had I don’t anything more smaller so they wont get hot.

It is important to get the temperature right. They will die if they are too hot.
I know but I can’t go out especially since my selfish father here telling me to stop worrying of them. Idk what do.

Look I switch the small table to a small oven.

My parents force me to do it. Instead of them I was suprised as you are.

all because of the egg prices :/ it’s not that deep but for them is to hard to convince them.

What is the temperature in thebox?
They’re not cuddling anymore? Is that okay or what. Is warm for me but idk about them. They seem like roaming around natural when they came here in the morning which was hot today but since its night is cold.
