He’s cute! And yeah, looks like a bantam. I had my bantam mix (Serama/Bantam Leghorn mix) in with my American Game hen and she hatched out a clutch of half bantam chicks, so fertilization shouldn’t be a problem (though when I put both of them in the main coop with all the hens, he only had eyes for his Game Hen. I’ve only seen him mate with the other girls about three times and he’s been in with them for about a year ).

Oh, another plus is since he’s smaller, he shouldn’t hurt the girls (I’ve had bad luck with my bigger roos accidentally harming the hens).

Agreed. No beard, but definitely has muffs.

Not a purebred OEGB, as he has a beard, and not a purebred d’uccle, as he doesn’t have feathered legs.
