last week some dude was driving by, ( i live on the corner of 2 roads) as he turned the corner, out comes a 12 pack of beer bottles,,, i walk over, look down the road,, and about 6 houses away,, guess who stopped ,,,,, so i picked them all up,, threw a big heavy rock in the case,, and off i went,,, and for SOME silly reason,, the dude was upset when i threw it through his side window

then him and a couple drunk friends came out screaming,,,,, 1 lift of my shirt ta show what i was carrying ,,, and his friends seemed to not like him very much,, and asked him to leave

you need a "game camera",, but make sure you point it "down" the road,, not from the side of the road looking straight out,, you need it angled so you can get the license plate #

Are they throwing the trash from the road?
If they are pulling up in a certain spot I would put some nails down so you will hopefully flatten their tires.

We've had to put gates with padlocks across the driveways to several of our fields because of people dumping trash and kids thinking they could use a field for a keg party.

I've never understood this. Why people have to throw trash. No different than someone throwing a cigarette out their car window.

Every spring, we walk up and down our road with a wagon, picking up trash people have thrown in our ditch over the winter.

If the previous owners of the trash registered anything with the manufacturer for warranty purposes, the serial numbers might come in handy that way.

We had that problem when we bought our farm. There was a 'pulloff' along the road bordering our property. You cannot see it from any house. Folks had taken to throwing everything there like it was a local landfill (the property drops off right there, so you could throw stuff down the embankment and it isn't readily seen from the road). Impossible to clean up!

We wanted to stop it, so put up signs and plastic fencing ... didn't matter. One year somebody discarded his 'deer carcasses left over after rendering' ... about 30 of them. That stank clear up to the house for months!

You can get 'imposter' video cameras pretty cheap. They don't work, but look real, and install them in trees. I agree with the sign at the beginning of the driveway.

We finally got our problem solved when the state decided to redo the road and put a guiderail straight along the pulloff (it's too narrow and windy a road to stop without a pulloff). I'm sure whoever was dumping is still doing it, just found a new 'spot.'

And TRASH ! I agree, we spend a day every spring with a wagon going up and down the road this part of the road (our property runs on both sides) and clean up the trash. Even FULL unopened beer bottles!

We have the same problem on 52 acres of undeveloped land. It's on a dead-end road overlooking a beautiful pond. People obviously go there because it's such a nice place, but then they dump their trash there. It blows my mind. I've filled five-gallon buckets with broken beer bottles, and hauled off a stove, car parts, etc. Someone recently abandoned a boat there, and the snowplow hit it and scattered bits of fiberglass all over. I'd love to catch somebody in the act. I've been thinking about ordering a couple of those game cameras from Cabela's.
