Maybe they can ban bird feeders to discourage wild birds while they are at it so there will be less runoff

Gather up all the ducks at the ponds too!
Better yet - poultry netting.... or a giant bubble over the entire town so those with allergies can exist comfortably without the threat of anaphylactic shock.

Wow, just wow. That was so ignorant! My dogs crap in the yard all the time yet that is not poisoning our water supply but my chickens are? Interesting. I also have no fear of respiratory disease from these fella's as I stay on top of my cleaning chores with them. I don't do smelly or piles of poop in my coop or run. Yuck.

You guys have to understand that the people of Hamden CT don`t want all that fresh air flowing in from New Haven or the pristene waters of the Connecticut river to be spoiled by chicken poo.
