Some PIG!

I pay around $75 for weaners (6-8 weeks old) so that's a great deal. Definitely need a second pig, though, to keep him company.

He is a Hampshire or Hampshire cross. They are very hearty animals and do great on pasture. If the pink only went down the front leg and formed a perfect cylinder around there, it would be considered "belted" and would be highly sought.

There is also a breed called the "Saddleback" with those markings, but with lop ears. Many people can't spot the difference between a saddleback and a hampshire though.

The pink does go all the way around his middle and down his front legs. You mean no pink on his back legs?

I know very little about most pigs other than I have had a more than a few pink ones and a solid black one I have raised in the past.

I am trying to find another one. You have no idea how hard it was to find this one!

The man had 2 and a sow. He wanted badly to sell 1. The sow is close to farrowing and hopefully I'll get a second one soon.

When we got him h was so filthy I thought his legs were black. after lasts nights bath and a bed filled with super sweet hay and clean water and feed he has barely no stench at all. He is laid out in his stall snoozing.

Ohh ok. I see what you mean. That is a pretty pig. The other he had was like that only red and not black.

he will be pastured with the ram lamb.

Very cute!

I used to have pigs awhile back. Bacon, Ham, and Sausage were their names!

I've got a few piglets I'll sell you for cheap. They don't get quite as big and they aren't as cute but their meat is Mmmmmm good and they are super duper hardy. We have about 25 of them!
$15 each weaned

That is SOME pig!

I love pigs! We had three growing up, Larry, Moe and Joe. :)

Only thing is, they became pets. My dad regretted the dad he bought them for us to fatten up and butcher. HA HA HA I was only four, but still (not so) fondly remember they day they tried to feed them to us.

My extended family sure appreciated us raising those pigs for them to eat. ;-)

OMG texasgirl! Those babies!!! So cute! They have the coloring of baby guineas! hehe
