ahhhhh so adorible, do you have pics of her foot now?

My rooster just lost his foot to frost bite, i mean the whole foot gone, poor thing, but he gets around great no promblems. and he is a lady killer, the ladys love him. we named him Limpy, poor guy.

I will get pics tonight when I re wrap her foot. They are really discolored (black) but she seems fine she is actually putting a little pressure on it now and slightly walking on it from time to time. Thanks again everybody who has givin kind words and great ideas and knowledge.

Update on my polish hen......Sorry I didn't get pictures but it was yucky and I just didn't get around to it. Today after her foot soak, and scrub, she lost 2 toes, and will be losing the other two soon.

Her poos have been watery, but after hanging with her today I think it may be because she wasn't eating very well, I don't think she liked what I was giving her. I was giving her the layer, complete ration, and corn all mixed together. Well I then gave her just plain old Chick starter and she ate, although is this a good idea? Then I made her scrambled eggs with oatmeal and poultry drench and she gobbled some of that up, so I hope her poos return to normal, cuz this has been a long road, all the males are doing fine and have established friendships with my flock, I even caught one of them mating with my hens, why my Roos are allowing them to do this I thought was strange but oh well, I guess if they don't mind I don't either. LOL

So if anyone one has any ideas or advise on anything thing else to do here I am all ears. I was giving Penicillin in the beginning and then duramycin, but she hasn't had any antibiotics for about 1 week and a half now maybe 2. On a good note she is getting new feathers in her top hat.

We need photos, of course!

Still rooting for these guys, you're doing an awesome job!!

She'll be fine without her toes, if she gets to live without infection and pain...
