I am in Hawaii. I do give them organic food supplemented with their grain. I worry that they are in a run in my garage and need to forage for their healthy organic main food..of which I supply daily.They get fruits as well.Yogurt is a few times a week. I will not give them eggs...sorry no can do...lol

Do you have any natural grocery stores that sell dry bulk organic people food? The various recipes online for mixing your own organic chicken feed use a lot of ingredients you could find at one of those kinds of stores. Even oats has 12% protein, and I find organic oats here at the regular grocery stores. Supplement with a couple other items to get it a bit higher protein and they should be okay until your supplier gets regular organic feed in again. It would not be cheap, but it could help in a pinch temporarily if you are only feeding a small flock. I hope they get your other food in for you soon.
