Mac is making louder peeping noises now-- not constantly, just when he's trying really hard to stand up, has fallen over, or is experiencing what i can only peg as frustration. He still can't stand on his own, but now instead of standing stick straight in the air and falling backwards, he's tipping over forward and somersaulting, or rolling over onto his back. He can get back onto his stomach at least so I he hasn't gotten stuck on his back.

My gut is telling me that he's having micro-seizures, but I don't know what I can do for him about that... hopefully the B supplement will help. I'll keep you guys posted once I have it.

Silver lining: He slept really soundly last night, so at least he was comfortable enough to sleep.

When did you say you were going to take him to the vet? I would hold on the vet till you have some money and wait till he seems to be doing fine. By the sound of it he seems to be doing a little better. Stick with what your doing then if he is not getting better or is getting worse then take him. I really do not want you to blow your budget. Hope he does ok!

Thank you :) we planned on holding off on the vet until we had the money and in the mean time just do what we can.

He just pooped right in front of me and it's thick liquid and all white. Is that diarrhea?

Edit: his diet for the last two days has been meal worms covered in a mixture of chick starter mash and turkey crumble, and a pea/peanut water (since niacin is water-soluble, the extraction process is pretty simple and the fluid has the most niacin possible)

@happy duck
@Miss Lydia

so i got the Niacin. It's not time release, but it is Flush Free (i just read that i should try to avoid that?). Is this still okay to give to Mac? Also, how much should I give him? They are 500mg capsules

Edit: after a bit of research i decided not to risk it and went back to walmart and exchanged the Niacin capsules for B-Complex liquid supplement. 20mg per dose, and I read there should be 100mg/gallon, so i have a half gallon mixed for him and he just got a few droppers full of the fluid.

Can I just let him drink this as his normal water? Or is there a dose?

You got the right stuff the liquid give him 1 teaspoon 1X a day I believe it is @CayugaJana can give proper dose but go ahead and give him a teaspoon full you can do it tiny drops at a time in his bill or put it over something he really likes to eat like his meal worms. Just give him a small amount of meal worms so he gets the whole teaspoon at once. Putting it in his water with half gallon is way to watered down. It's looks like he is having trouble holding up his head so be careful with water don't want him to drown.
If you have a small syringe with out a needles you can wrap Mac in a towel and try giving him tiny drops into his bill till he has taken the full teaspoon.
