Something is wrong with my egg? It's oozing?? See Pic.

Day 46

Went into the bator to fill the water. Looked down. One of 4 eggs is oozing? I don't even know what to call it. There isn't a crack or visible ding. It's just... not normal??

What is wrong with the egg? I am guessing this means I have another "no hatch" on this one?

Of the 4 eggs, it looks like I have only 1 potential for hatch...

guess I'm not going to have them shipped ever again...

yep..bad egg, I am afraid....why won't you try shipped Emu eggs? the 11 I have set so far have all been shipped, two of those shipments came in the dead of winter with sub zero temps....and I have hatch 5 out of the 7 so far, and 4 more that I just set.

Good luck with the rest of your hatch and don't give up

So 3 of 4 eggs are bad.

I have all my faith left in one little egg.

It is supposed to go into hatcher mode tomorrow. For some reason I feel like I shouldn't put any eggs in this basket. After the first one died during hatch, we scraped together enough money to buy 4 from a super duper awesomely nice BYC member. It appears 2 had ruptured air cells from transport. The one above oozed and this last one I don't hear or see anything from it.... *sigh*

My kids were really upset about the first one. They are going to be so so so upset about this.

On a happier note, my bator works like a champ and I love it!

Never had an oozer or a leaker. But silent and supprise hatch that is an emu tactic
