Most people don't have any CLUE there is more than just white turkeys. Most people think a turkey is a turkey. Most people think that the brown and black turkeys are all "wild". Most people think those BBW's that are slowly crushing themselves to death are "pretty" and "good, they don't have to die".

I'm sure that the last 10 Presidents didn't know anything about turkeys. They all think turkeys are the people that run for office. If someone stuck it in their face and the media made an issue, they would change what they are doing.

Every day, I learn something new on this site. But, I wonder if that was the plan, to pardon turkeys who won't make it to next year, anyway, so as to cut down on the cost of keeping a bunch of old turkeys around doing nothing (though, I guess, one was a female and could be bred).
