Something was in my bed.....

They're really good at sensing heat. They see kind of like an infrared heat loss thing see's heat seeping out of your house. MY DD has a Ball Python. We had no trouble with it eating, then we bought a little larger rat. We had been feeding him in his cage with the warm rat. The rat kept attacking him and the snake acted like he couldn't see him. Turns out when we stuck him in a cardboard box with the rat and closed the lid, the rat was dead in about 10 seconds. No heat source and the snake saw the rat. So he probably could sense your heat and climbed up to you. You know how they like to climb and burrow.

As for OP. That would freak me out. Especially with what I wear to bed. Roaches? Gross!!!!!!

It could have been a snake because if they are in a house they are most likely to o next to the warmest thing which may be you! They like to snuggle but i do not think i would want one to snuggle up to me!

Yeah, but there is nothing for him to hold on to unless he climbed up the blinds or something. The bedpost is very smooth and his tank is on the floor. I guess I might never know how he got up there with me.

Many years ago, my ex came home late & fell asleep in the recliner, he woke me up very early in the morning saying a mouse or ...something crawled up his pant leg and he was holding the back of his pant leg, he wanted me to help him get it out, so we went into the bathroom and got the pants off, OMG!! it was a BAT!... it didn't bite him, but what a scary surprise!

What a gorgeous Tarantula. I really like the big hairy ones. I wanted one as a pet, until I read that they can live for 30 years. I just don't have that long of a attention span for any pet. I could just see me trying to get find a old folks home at 75, and having to fight to keep my favorite little darling.

Had my cat bringing in "presents" and I could not figure out what it was....got up and turned on the light. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! Field mice was the usual thing and it was messy. Stripped the bedsheets and could not go back to sleep for the rest of the night.

Can't blame the cat for trying!

ok i know this is weird but i have a disgusting talent. i can 'sense" any bugs in my room at night. before you think i am crazy listen. I will lay in bed then i cannot go asleep and i get a weird feeling like in my head. i actually know exactly where in my room something else in pitch black darkness. one time i knew something was on the ceiling and i flipped on the light and it was a roach right above my head. one time it was my sleeping cat underneath my bed even though i didnt hear it or anything... one time i woke up and i got the weird sense and i went in my closet and picked up a shirt and there was a roach under the shirt. i have found a TON of bugs pets and weird things that " normal" people wouldnt find in their room. sometimes i actually can tell what and where something is and even how big it is.
