My DH is hopeless as well and doesnt have a clue about my girls and really doesnt understand the whole thing! except when theres eggs and chicken to be eaten then its different!

WOW, You women are rough!
Here I am, a middle aged single guy, thinking about getting some chickens for eggs and meat, searching the posts for hints.
I find, so far, that women are the experts on hatching, feeding and raising these birds.
So that means, the man is only there to build the coop, and slaughter the culls?
I have to admit, some Neanderthals will eat anything that's left on the counter, I am not one of them (really!)
OMG, is there any hope for a single, loving guy?

Ok Ladies I have a funny one for ya.....One day I cleaned off all the dishes and put it all in the dog bowl.....well there was my husband chowing down

I was like umm where did you get that, knowing there was nothing left besides what I put in the dogs dish

. I said "Honey did you look at the dish ? Boy was he mad !!! That was the last time I left the dog dish on the stove.
