A spatula works great for picking up dissolving mice. Then a little hydrogen peroxide, on the spot where they died, to lift and sterilize whatever oozed out.

This one was wedged in a hole, half in and half out, under a cupboard. The best tool, in fact, the only tool for the job was a human hand. I'm just amazed that this time it wasn't my hand. I can still be the rooster since I'm fairly handy and built her garden and do similar tasks that she can't do. Thank goodness for that, a beautiful woman who will go in after a rotting mouse? If she could build things and do maintenance on her car I'd probably develop a an inferiority complex.
