GM did not make those AMC did. They did use GM transmitions an Ford engines but they were there own car company. They were also the owner of Jeep at the time. They sold out in 1986(i think) to Chrysler. Stile was there downfall but they would run forever.
Nearly anything that plays on one of the two pop stations. I have nothing against the genre, there are several artists that could as 'pop' that I like...but they're also talented lyricists or musicians who are actually writing from the heart and personal experience, rather than singing whatever catchy tune the label hands them to sell records.
I feel very much the same way about most rap and most country, and bit of rock/alternative too.
Basically I have a thing against poor or lazy lyrics.
AC/DC causes me to instantly turn off the radio though. I cannot stand that guy's voice.

I should have done that too. I now have McArthur Park stuck in my head.
The one song I will hit the button the radio over fastest is Elton John's "Don't Go Breakin' My Heart" all because the annoying neighbor kid sang it in a Middle School talent show and I can't even hear Elton's voice anymore. I hear the kids. That would have been 1975....
