Glad you were able to talk to your daughter and come to a consensus together. Communication is always a great. Even if it was to decide not to wait.
I could not have a kid at 19, nor could I have a kid now at 23. I'm in grad school and see how hard my peers struggle to raise children at the same time. Parents had me at 36 and 44, and I am the oldest. They had built up enough of a foundation that I never had to worry about anything that wasn't trivial (looking back that is, since I knew everything when I was 15,16, 17, 18 and so on
). House paid, cars paid, mom never had to go to work so could raise us full time, college funds set up before we could walk, funds for my little red car and toys ready to go. I am doing all I can now so I can even hope to give my kids as much as my parents have provided for me.
