I understand how mad you are. I have had the same thing done. A roo will kill another roo even if it is a silkie roo.
I was big into partridge not so much now as I use to be but I had two roo's I was watching grow out I was running out of room and put the roo's in cages side by side. By the next morning I went out to feed as I always do and found both roo's bloody from fighting and one is worse shape then the other. Needless to say the one in worse condition died. Which was the better of the two and the one I planned on keeping. I felt my blood boil and I wanted to BOIL HIM. He was rehomed the next day I could not stand the sight of him. Since I have not been big into partridge silkies.
