Sore eye on Welsh Harlequin duck

I've recently noticed one of my WH has a sore eye which can also be watery/foamy. The skin around the eye looks a bit blistered. He shares his run with another WH male. They have a pond to wash in which is cleaned regularly.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Try cleaning it with a saline solution.

The other drake could be grabbing at him - in which case you need to separate them at least temporarily.

Saline is a very good idea. Vetericyn also makes an eye gel. If you get it early, it should be pretty easy to deal with.
