hope not… how is it treated? We do have wild doves that roam around… Always something… thank you again.

Thanks was looking at other past posts as well... So, how do you purchase Metronidazole? We do not have vets in our area that care for poultry but ill keep looking around. I wish there was online telehealth for chickens!

Does the beak have a bad odor? Canker is said to have a bad odor. Have you seen any fowl pox or have had mosquitoes lately? The wet type of pox can resemble canker.

Black scabs on the legs looks like it could be Fowl Pox.
I'd paint them with Iodine, careful not to disturb the scabs too much. See if that helps dry them up.
