I agree with the others, those tests are KNOWN for false negatives. I worked with a lady who was told her baby was going to have Down's based on that test. The level 2 u/s came back with two soft markers, but nothing 100% confirming. Her husband demanded she abort, she refused and refused to do the amnio because it didn't matter to her. He left her over it and filed for divorce. There is NOTHING wrong with her son, nothing. I never had the tests done and after working with her, I'm so glad I made that choice.

Try not to stress. No matter what the end result turns out to be you guys will make it, you will love the baby and it will all work out for a purpose.

I always refused the tests. I read up on them before hand and when I heard of the high false positive rates I decided I did not need that much stress in my life. No matter what I would love the baby and deal with things as they came. My doctor disagreed of course but whatever.
