My chicken has been sick past 4-5 days not laying or roosting not eating much. Stays a lot in coop corner. When she does come outside to eat she is very slow walking and closes her eyes a lot. Ive given her a lot of kitchen cupboard remedies. Although she hasn't taken a lot of it. Red wine laxatives Nat yog. Painklers scrambled egg. Iron olive oil garlic. Ect. I don't know what to do. She has been vomiting green when I induce her vomiting but nothing in past day as I stopped the inducing. Her poo is greeny white watery sometimes with grainy bits. Her crop feels ok now I think. She has new feathers still in casing on top of neck but the root is purple blue is this normal? New to chicken keeping but I'm willing to try anything to help her vet said nothing you can do for crop issues! I'veready contimplated cutting it if it gets to that she's such a good little hen what do you think?

    Thanks

I suggest you put "Crop Issues," in the search box. I would imagine a lot of items will pop up. You may be able to diagnose her problem by reading the symptoms, and then follow through with what is suggested. Crop issues are very common in chickens.

I see you are offline, there is no way for anyone to communicate with you under those circumstances. I hope information will reach you in time, and she can be saved.

Try feeding her some scrambled eggs every day for a week or two ..

This is an item you might want to get if you do not already have one and it is to put liquid items into the crop and yes it is worth it .....
