Chicken has sour today’s the 3rd day her crop has gotten smaller and today it’s like a little marble the first day was kind of like a golf ball and now it’s like a marble i have been giving her Greek yogurt and garlic water could she eat anything else she is starting to dislike the yogurt then again that’s one of the only things she’s been eating for 2 days. So if anyone else know what she could or eat or should I still give her the yogurt and garlic water?

As far as foods during a crop yeast infection, avid carbs and sugars. Everything else is okay.

Are you treating her with a yeast med such as miconazole or Medistatin?
No I don’t if I were to get some how would that be admistrated to a chicken I have been following this on https://oakabode.com/sour-crop-home-treatment-instructions/ on YouTube today i gave her hard boiled egg yolk with some Greek yogurt along with her garlic water

I caught her like that quick though when I went inside to put in the feeders she was in one corner while the others where ready to eat so I checked her out and she had a round ball that was soft and looked more into it and saw it was sour crop when showed people the article they said it worked for them and the person on yt said it worked for them as well

That yogurt and garlic treatment is fine to prevent sour crop, but if a yeast has already colonized the crop, you will need an anti-yeast med to kill the yeast. It's usually a twice a day for seven days treatment and you use women's vaginal yeast cream. Here's an article explaining the different crop issues and how to treat each. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

Yes. That's the right stuff. This is the usual yeast treatment for sour crop here on this web site. Most of us use it.
thank you so much I’ll buy it first thing tomorrow these fluffy girls mean a lot to me got them august last year and it was my first time having chickens so I was awful but thanks to all y’all lovely people my chickens can see another day. One last question can she eat the whole egg only gave her the yolk I was paranoid she would get worse if I gave her the whole thing could she also have some layer feed or cracked corn?

Never mind she can’t eat corn has a lot of carbohydrates

By all means serve her the whole egg. Hard boiled, soft boiled, scrambled, and even raw. There is a lot of good energy in the egg white and the yolk has valuable proteins and fats and vitamins and minerals.

Yes, stay away from corn - too high in sugars.
