One of my older hens has sour crop. I researched and found many contradictory and varying answers. Right now, the hen is quarantined with no food. Based on experience, what is the best way to treat this?

I gave her some yogurt with live cultures because that's what most websites said to do. Any advice for what to do next?

The weird part is she has been eating, drinking, going to the bathroom. She's just very weak and has a squishy crop.

I've heard inducing vomiting is dangerous, but I don't think I have much of a choice now. What are the procedures I should follow?

There is an excellent read here on BYC titled Sour Crop CURED with Monistat. I don't know how to include the link in my post but you can type it in the search box above. So far I have not had to deal with sour crop so I cannot speak from experience but many others have as you will see in said thread.

Crops that are full of fluid can be caused by many things further in, like worms, damage from worms, bacterial infections, cancer, etc. can you post a picture of her poop?
