How are you going to give the Kaytee? Stop by Walmart and get a kitchen scale.

I’ve got a kitchen scale so I’m set! I’m going to mix it with a cooked egg or similar— she’s still eating well.

Is the vet you saw on call on the weekends? If so, maybe you could call and ask him/her to call in a prescription of ketoconazole?

If she’s eating then I would mix it with water to the consistency of a thick soup and let her drink it. Mine always loved it that way. I had one poor girl with a tumor in her crop when she was only 8 weeks old. It took 2 weeks of treating sour crop before I got desperate and did surgery. I removed a 2”x1/4” tumor from her crop. By that time her crop was pendulus but she lived. She just looked like a well endowed woman the rest of her life

If'she'll eat just the Kaytee that's what I would feed. It's 20% or 22% protein, whereas egg is only 13% protein.

She is very uninterested in pumpkin and the kaytee on their own— I think it’s the texture. I added a tiny bit of grower crumble to get her to eat. I’ve also been adding chick grit to everything, so she takes some in like it or not (it’s too tiny for her to pass it up when it’s mixed in the food).

Because her crop had gotten very liquidy again, I vomited her and for the first time a few pieces of hay came out (which is what I suspect caused the impaction, wherever it may be).

Well, I fear things aren’t going to end well here. Today her comb has darkened, and the tips are purple— I think she’s having trouble breathing. She got a bath, an enema (what can it hurt at this point?), and ate a decent amount of kaytee mixed with electrolyte water and a little grower crumble (to get her to eat it), but it didn’t seem to help as much as I’d hoped it would.
I can give her a heavy dose of antibiotics, if it will help anything, but would it?

Sadly, my girl ended up passing away about an hour after my post last night. Depressed as I am to lose one of my original flock (and a favorite), I feel like I was able to do everything I possibly could for her, and I'm glad she's no longer suffering. I can't express how much I appreciate everyone's help here-- I think she stood a decent chance of pulling through, but would have stood no chance whatsoever had you all not been so generous with your time and experience. Thank you!

I'm so sorry you lost her. You tried so hard to save her.

Thanks for posting that necropsy info but surprised it doesn't mention anything about the digestive (or reproductive) tract that would cause the crop issue you were seeing and trying to treat.
