I have a bantam pullet, about 10 weeks old, who I thought had an impacted crop but adjusted that diagnosis some. It's large and very fluidy, she often gurgles and tries swallowing very hard. I have her separated and she eats and drinks and appreciates being on pasture. I have added apple cider vinegar to her water as well as used a small amount of yogurt in her feed (I make a paste). At times she's expelled white fluid through her mouth but not lately. She's been like this approximately 10 days and I'm wondering which of the drugs I should be ordering (half hate to for a single animal, but it'll be on hand).

I've heard of turning them upside down, no 1st hand knowledge of this method. I did see some info on the poultry site forum that discusses this symptom.

Wonderful! I tipped her over and extracted quite a bit of gunk from her crop. I'll try again tomorrow. Thank you very much.
