Where do you live (country) Huntsman?? I'm in Westville! I'm a quail farmer. I've 20 something chicks that hatched this morning!!

I'm up in the crime free area of Gauteng. I now have five chooks laying regularly, and am averaging four eggs a day. Some are small, from the bantams, whilst the others are a good size, probably from the BO's, though I'm not certain. /img/smilies/tongue.png


I will soon hit the local food markets on a weekend, and yeah, R1.00 an egg seems the going rate, though I might only get 25c for the banties' eggs!

They are. Me? Not so sure..! ;-)

Try this fella - I have used him before but he will only send a large qty of day olds as chicks tend to die in courier vans. Perhaps he has a contact/method to help you...
