So sad that the Kris and Robert show is over! I got some good laughs! You guys are always fun to be around.
I gotta get down and buy some Guineas from you all. I am thinking I will move the turkeys out....somewhere.....and change that into a guinea pen. Of course, I have a Guinea that thinks it is a turkey and seems very confused when it shrieks instead of gobbling.

The blasted turkeys are where ever I am most of the time so I suppose they do not care where they sleep at night. I have to walk them to bed every night anyhow. Except for Royal Pain. The girls from Kimberly sleeps with the chickens. She says those juvie gobblers are beneath her!

I am so glad they have recovered.  Can you draw blood and send it, or does she mean she wants the bird permanently?  any suggestions as to what it could be?

RobertH

I have emailed her and asked if I could get their blood tested. I am not sure of the cost. I can just see me and the babies on a road trip to get their blood tested. If they weren't stressed before they certainly would be afterwards! She said it could be lots of things. Hundreds of things. She also said since I had been giving antibiotics that if it was a bacterial thing it would not show up. The one thing she mentioned several times that was I guess the most worrisome was mycoplasm thingy which I am probably spelling wrong. That is what the bloodwork could confirm even after the antibiotics I believe. Anyway I will let you know what she says. I am keeping them separate and far from my other chickens for now. Oh another interesting thing about the myco... is that it is passed to the eggs so it is possjble if they have it that any eggs I or anyone else would hatch from them would also have/carry it. So would be good to rule that out but not sure of what that blood test would cost.

How many turkeys do you have left? People keep wanting mine but I am trying not to sell more. I like the ones we have now. I keep giving out your info on the turkeys so that you can move them into new homes. As well as telling other that the Coral Blues are available.

No need to run after you, your truck would have 4 flats. we sold some, so we still have 15 Wonderful babies + 2 Tom & Jerri Babies and 8 eggs in the bator. I'm not sure what to keep. The Bronze are extra sweet and friendly, but it drives Kris nuts to have to pick up the girls or they will stand in front of you and talk to you. And they are still sleeping in the barn. I like them all. I think the only Auburn might be the best looking (other than Tom of course).

Robert has pretty long legs so he may be able to keep up...... especially if I am trying to speed away with 4 flat tires!

Only 15 left. Pretty darn good! I do like the looks of the Auburns.
And yes! They can be under my feet quite a lot. It does annoy me when they fly into someone's pen and then can't figure out how to get back out. Obviously been taking lessons from the Guinea!

Here they are tonight helping with chores. Always gotta be in front of me showing me what to do and telling me all about it. Silly ol' birds! (And there is the Guinea thinking it is a turkey, too.)
