Robert U know I love to hear guineas, but where I live they wouldn't make it and I would be sad........if they would stay in the fence with the chickens they would, BUT we know they would not!want to try guineas?

Actually I GAVE one away because Teddy lost his girl and was lonely, that was CHARITY! I see how charitable you areok, now keep in mind, we lost a guinea boy to a car, he sold one of my girls and we lost a keet today, so I was right we had 50, I just didnt subtract the few losses we had since I got back from nationals.![]()
If you leave that window open I will be sure to remove the heavy blanket you use at night, and nope, you cant put on the winter hat, heavy clothing to sleep so you can stay warm, hmm think I could just kick you out to the guinea pen to sleep![]()
yep, you wnat more of those silly birds, the guinea pen is your room.![]()
We collected almost all of the eggs. Yes you absolutly can eat guinea eggs. SOme say they prefere them to chicken. I cant tell a difference except they are small so the yolk is much bigger compare to the amount of white. They shells are extreamly hard. But yes you can eat the eggs.I want to see a real picture of this nest of eggs! I need some eating eggs. It seems everyone is slow on laying these days. Can u eat guinea eggs? Are they any good?

and you said over 50, not just 50. besides if you use chicken math, as I understand it, guineas do not count at all, because they are not chickens!

I am glad you gave Teddy a mate. Thank you for giving him our little girl.
as for your chicken math comment, well I never even mentioned chicken math, thats your excuse for all of these crazy birds, shall we discuss the turkeys...![]()
I am so glad they have recovered. Can you draw blood and send it, or does she mean she wants the bird permanently? any suggestions as to what it could be?I also wanted to give a sick chick update. So far since Friday they all seem to have recovered. It is a bit weird. I did talk to Dr. Helm today from Clemson and she was nice. She is going to email me some chicken info. She says depending on what their problem I could see a relapse when the birds get stressed. She said they could give it to any new birds. I wish I knew what it was. She said if she had a live bird she could run its blood. I wonder if she still could to test for mycoplasm(whatever). I sure would hate to spread this and I would hate to have to continuously fight it and I really don't want to kill them all!
