It's a hard thing to find a good home for roosters. But if you post here the breeds, ages, and where they came from, you might find someone who needs them.
Not sure. Someone else told me it's possibly they could be Columbian Plymouth Rocks, but I'm pretty sure they're more than one breed now (friend told me when she got them the guy said they were mixed, so yeah). Honestly, that's our biggest right there. His brothers are half the size and seem to have slowed down growing, so I think Jiggles is just jumbo by design xD On the Brightside, my brother has come to the rescue and decided to take one of the roo's off my hands, so that makes me happy!Lakenvelder? They normally are not that big....
It just gets worse. We thought we would get up to 16 and I now have 55! It's addicting!Hello to everyone! So glad to find this thread! We are new to chickens. We are in greenville/Powdersville area.!! We have 6 red sexlinks & 6 silkies! We were suppose to originally have 4 chickens rotfl...we are addicted now!
For those of you who live in greenville county I have a question . Are roosters allowed?? We are not in the city limits. I've tried looking up the ordinance but it's as clear as mud to me..lol. Any info is greatly appreciated . Thanks
