I love hearing about all the different kinds and how people customize their coops.

I'm in Taylors, right at the Greer line. I've been here for 20 years now but originally I'm a native Floridian. After several years of saying we wanted chickens, we but the bullet and dove right in. Our first 4 came from the feed store on hwy 14 in Greer. 2 Brown leghorns and 2 golden comets. A week later we picked up 4 more, fresh hatched. A lavender ameraucana, a silver laced Cochin, a splash Orpington and an EE.

We have a pretty good size run and are working on a coop (hopefully really soon! )

Greetings from Johnsonville. We are newbs at chickens only got them a year ago for janitorial duty for our messy quail. Started with the farm store mix then went pure bred. Now we're covered in birds. Blue black orphingtons, Jersey giants, speckled Sussex, partridge wayandottes bantams, bearded d'uccle, silkies, pheasants quail,pigeons..
