Maybe...kids will have to ride bus...and if its warmer and meds kick in...I would Love to go! Maybe the steriods and antibiotics will be kicking butt by then but out in cold is bad news for me right now

I know us guys talk way more than that! I just haven't had a chance to get on much.
Yesterday I had a nice visit with a lady from Ohio. She needed black copper Marans and I had them for sale. Bless her heart, she bought some earlier this year and when she saw my black copper/Ameraucana hens she said that is what hers looked like with the fluffy cheeks and body style. I told her what they were and she almost feel over. the person she bought them from told her they were pure Marans and she paid dearly for them. She was wondering why she was getting a dark green egg. I could not believe someone would sell like that! How unscrupulous!
But now she is a happy camper with 2 of my young gorgeous black copper girls and Albert, my most handsome black copper man.
What a nice drive back to Ohio she will have with them in the back of her nice SUV. Shhhhhooooo! I know what birds smell like after a few hours in a closed up car.

And I got to spend time with a friend I met through BYC years ago! Daniel came over and we looked around the farm and he saw all my new additions, bought some duck eggs and meal worms. Another great visit and I encouraged him to get back on BYC, especially this thread.

Everyone bundle up! It is crazy winter weather out there! It frosted well enough this morning to look like snow on the ground. My fingers are stiff from opening the coop and pop doors but I hope it will warm up in another hour so I can fill water containers. I hate that job in the winter!
 
Sorry! Didn't get on last night to answer but you have it. I thought it was a lot of money but you get lunch.

I really just want to see what it's all about. I'd like to host one here next year if it's good. Once my house and barn is done....

My son goes to private school and is in 5th grade and very skinny. He's playing on the middle school basketball team and last night was the first game. We had 7 players and three of them are in 5th grade! The team we played looked like a college team. My son was guarding a kid and only came up to his armpit... if that. Oh, dear. We got creamed but he had fun. I think!

Thats cute about your son..I have a small boy myself...he will be 13 in april and weighs 63 pounds...he is considering band!LOL He played basket ball for the Y last year and they put him in a next younger group and he was still so small...his team lost everygame because they would never pass the ball...he did get the one basket they got all season when he accidently got the ball though and got star player...coach knew he could shoot...he just never got the ball! That is great your son is playing,and with middle school...he should have that famouse growth spurt next year!!
 
My son is tall for his age but thin. He just hasn't hit puberty like those rascally 7th and 8th graders on the other team! He played with a lot of intensity though. I was proud of him. I doubt we'll win a game this year unless we play another team with mostly 5th and 6th graders.

I'm shipping three lavender silkies today. My first time shipping. Hope I get it right!
