I have a question for Silkie owners...If you use Silkies as broodies, do they normally hatch eggs in 21 days? I ask because one of my girls hatched a clutch of 3 eggs 1 week late, and it looks like my second Silkie broody's clutch will be around a week late as well (based on candling progression). So I was wondering if this was normal? Or perhaps my girls just aren't hot enough to hatch in 21 days?

Humm, mine always hatched in 21 days or there abouts...

My chickens range from the adorable and cuddly......

...to the imposing and majestic! (and everything in between)

I love these two guys. Two of my prizes from chickenstock.
