South Carolina

We're kind of in love with the Lavenders & Blues.
(Although I saw a photo of a beautiful Chocolate the other day)
I think from the looks of these chickens my kids can think of them
more as pets than just the regular random yard birds on our
Grandads farm.

I've got some Easter Eggers too :) I'm technically on Johns Island.

The BLR cockerel is dark all the pullets are splash

I have some extra girls from meyer hatchery for sale. 2 RIR Pullets and 1 barred rock pullet $8.00 per pullet. I also will give away 3 roosters 1 BR, 1 RIR, and one blue laced red wyandotte. The wyandotte popped out with a strait comb so it would not be a good breeder. All pullets and roosters are 12 weeks old. PM me if Intrested I am close to duncan SC

The question is; are we going to get the rain the weather folks have been predicting for us here in the Midlands? I keep hoping I won't have to water the garden.

I keep not wanting to let my girls out of their (huge) coop because of the weather forecast. They were MAD at me when I finally let them out to forage while I weeded the garden at 6 last night. They usually put themselves back in near dark, but I got to play a fun game of chickies roundup last night as payback.
