Despite what some people think or read about them, they do not lay well so most folks do not keep them around long. They are owned by few people because they do not pull their weight in many working farms. And forgive me if I say that the reviews on this site are usually from beginners that have not had them long enough to know what they are really capable of. A breeder can tell you more about them, preferably once that has had them longer than 2 years. Getting only 180 eggs a year from a breed is not a good layer. I think the reason I have heard so many do not own them is the flighty character and the lack of egg laying. Again, try to find a breed club for them here in the US and talk to actual breeders or order some from a hatchery. Most backyard enthusiasts will not have the breed.
