South Carolina

Thanks for the link, Daniel. Bill is bringing me 10 Barred Rock laying hens this morning along with more Silkies. I just keep adding to the flock.

I was thinking fall would be good for a get together as well. Maybe late Sept. I was hoping to think of a park where there are picnic tables and we could all bring a dish or two. Maybe our favorite egg recipes!

Awesome Enola! There are lots of great people you need to meet from BYC that I have gotten together with. I can't wait to meet with you again and chat. Everyone I have met from this forum so far has been great!

Remember back in spring we talked about a gathering? Then it got too hot. I think fall is an ideal time!

If it's someplace central I'd be there with bells on! Happy to help with food!

I have a buff orpington roo for sale. 9 months old
I purchased day old chicks from Clemson and ended up with extra roos.
I am located in Pickens.
Can email a picture if interested.

Lorrir was looking for a buff Orp roo and my neighbor hasn't let me know anything. Check back on a page or so back and see if they are interested in yours.

Hello I am from Easley SC (address) Dacusville area. I am trying to raise cream light brown dutch. how ever a varmit got all but 1. So I am looking for some more.

Priszilla (Karen) lives over in that area as well. I'm not sure what she has right now but she may know someone that does have them. Otherwise I would suggest the Clemson bantam club. Or is that Anderson Bantam club? I can't ever remember.

Hello from Lexington, SC...I am a complete newb currently in the "information gathering" stage

...been wanting chickens for years, but lately have been thinking about it more seriously as something I'd like to do in the next year or so. We live in a subdivision, but recently confirmed that, since we live in an "unincorporated" part of the county, I can definitely have chickens in my yard!
