It looks like you all had a great time and a nice selection of birds. I wish I could have been there. Is that a white peacock I see in the picture? If I'd been there I would have bought that straight away. Oh my, it is beautiful - who is the lucky person that got it? Thanks for sharing the pictures! I'm glad that so many people did get to participate.

Shows you how much I know. I thought it was a pen with white Turkey.

And yes, if it had been a white peacock and I had been there my DD would have had a fit if I had not bought it. She wants a white peacock so badly. I prefer the pieds or splits or whatever they are called that are part white and part colored. So appealing to me!

You are probably right. The first time I looked at the picture I only saw 1 bird there. I thought the bird in back was the train! I told you my eyesight is going fast. I believe it was a turkey, that makes me feel better since I couldn't be there to buy the peacock.

They are 2 White Peacocks. No one bought them and they rode back to Hampton, SC. I thought they were turkeys at first glance then I went to take a closer look.

I would have bought one of the peacocks if my neighborhood was more lenient but I'm on pins and needles with chickens. It's best not to push my luck. I got two golden pheasants to make up for my lack of peacock about a month ago from Jack.

I came out and looked around. Of course, I had in my head what breeds I wanted after the coop gets built but after seeing all the ones Saturday, I'm not sure anymore. Thanks a lot.

for making my choice harder.

Farmer John: My 11 year old son was so upset when I made him leave without your chicks. He could have sat there all day picking them up. Big change from when we first started talking about getting chickens. He started out, not so thrilled. Took him to a community farm in Columbia and he started to change his mind. But we he held those chicks he was completely sold on the idea. He is now trying to come up with names of chicks we don't have yet.
