I only know a little bit from the post here a couple days ago about the Craiglist post. Here's a link to the Craiglist post and it's rather sparce on info. But Tractor Supply is just before Best Buys on the main road going into Anderson. if your coming by 85 I would get off at Exit 19 and go south. You'll see it on the right just past a large intersection. K'mart is on the right before the intersection and behind Tractor and Best Buys is Pet Smart and either Lowes or Home Depot. It's one of the big Chain home improvement stores. It's all about a 1/2 mile before the Mall. Hope to see some BYC people there. Donald

Well the youngest peachick is having leg problems. Not sure if it pulled a tendon or what is going on. The peacock thread thinks it could be several thing, one of which is too much protein. I just wonder if it can get over what ever the issue is--I have vet wrapped the knee as it seems to be an issue with the joint there. Every day has a new challenge around here.

The deck came down today in many pieces. I hope I can save some but what a mess. I am still going to try to salvage what I can and still see at least one chicken pen in that pile!

On another note, the new OEGB chick looks like it is getting pretty blue wing feathers. It is out of my new BBRed trio but like someone has said--there seems to have been a Milk Man in my BBRed pen. The OEGB thread said it look like a Blue Wheaton chick--I am kind of excited to find out what it does look like but is it because one of my hens was with a wheaton roo before I got her or is it because I have a mixed bird in the BBRed pen?

Well, I am going to try to go back and read some of these posts I have missed--hope everyone has a great weekend!

He is not going but he did take me to lowes for some "just in case" lumber!! LOL NOW IF 4 OCLOCK WILL HURRY UP!!!

I just don't know, Nikky, maybe give them all a round of Gallimycin especially since the weather has turned bitter right now. I am not sure if it will help with anything but I know you don't want to lose more birds. It is horrible to find one dead. I found one of my dark Brahma pullets dead in the duck pool yesterday. I have no idea why she wanted to go swimming! Bless her itty bitty heart.
