Whew! Thank goodness! I was sweating losing more money on chickens!
Ok...nickel saved.
Thanks for the info. That is perfect!
Also, the pictures of Araucana's and Ameracauna's ROCKED! I have Araucana's....and like my dad...they need to shave their ears!
Good to know about the nickel!
Thank you for appreciating the info on the Aras and Ameras. My page is still in progress. It takes me a while to get to everything I need to do around here.
I know that Easter Eggers and Ameraucanas are a touchy subject for a lot of folks but believe me, a blue egg is a blue egg. I have pure birds and I have mutts. I love them both and their bloodlines make no difference to me. My hatchery birds have out laid my pure girls and have just as pretty of an egg. Only if you want to show them does it make any difference. But I would not call an Ameraucana an EE nor the other way around. Ameraucanas have a nice website and I encourage everyone to visit it. They are beautiful but I sell EEs and OEs like mad and only have Ameraucanas because of certain feather coloring. I will charge the same for their pure offspring as the others.
Glad to know you have the Araucanas! They are a beautiful breed and mine are extremely easy keepers and very friendly. Most folks don't like them because they do not have a tail but I never notice them being tailless, just more regal.
Love the comment about the EARS!!!!
