She is currently in with my very dark Mottled young roo. I am thinking he may be better than Rascal when he is fully mature. He is really super nice right now, imo. I will probably switch roos in another 8 weeks.
Color and pattern do not mean as much to me as the conformation. I haven't the patience to work on both at once. I usually stick to conformation and get that type in there and figure the color and pattern will get there eventually. If I can ever retain a perfect bird I will have an awesome pen of breeding birds but I do like the challenge of creating something gorgeous.
