I believe my MIL exact quote was " I cant believe my son married such a hick" and " why do you need so much land?"...but she actually came around to starting to like me alot but had cancer that left lasting effects and is not well at all and cannot walk anymore...its the SIL and FIL that are the snobs still!!
And her husbands brother actually said today when we went down for family dinner and I took some fresh eggs for Mrs Sue( sis n laws MIL!!LOL) who I LOVE that fresh eggs are good until you crack one and there is a chick in it...thats why he buys his from the groc store...to which my FIL says they must have been 3 months old to have a chick in them
....NO CLUE!! I tried to explain where chicks come from and how they grow but they dont believe me!! LOL

I did get a Christmas card from my sister. I was amazed. We haven't spoken since last Christmas and I am tired of being the one to call her all the time. They don't like to visit because I live on a dirty farm. They have a nice lakeside house with a lot of fancy trimmings. Not my style at all! You only live once and I want to do it with as much fun as I can. Being fancy isn't my style so I live like I want to. To the ones on here that have been in my house.....you know what I mean!

Merry Chritmas to all and soon to be a happy New Year. My husband gave me a IPad for Christmas so I could BYC when ever I can instead of getting the laptop out. I love that man.
As far as inlaws, they can't stand that we have chickens. They even get their eggs from someone eles. The eggs they get are covered in poop. I just smile because God said to bless the people who hurt you, so I do. Try it, you might like it.
