the other three still clear. I will say this... a mama hen has LOTS of patience. Me not so much. I even had a dream the other night that they hatched out during the night and when I went in there to the bator they where the size of 4month old chicks and Wildly colored.

joy cat,
our horse Dixie is built the same way. We finally ordered a flex tree saddle that fits her well but also fit the smaller behind of our son. We can use it on just about all of our horses. It might be something to look into. It has lasted for years. We had Dixie checked for everything. The vet said she was big but fine. We really have to watch her in the summer. We have to put her on a dry lot. I feel so sorry for her but we love that horse so much. She has saved my son's behind more than once. She came from a rescue and has been the best horse.

That is good to know. I've looked at those saddles and I may buy one once we get him home and get to ride him more often. Thanks for sharing, that makes me feel better. I love Mike, and I sure hope he's as healthy as he looks. I don't care if he's big, it fits his personality.

Rogers farm supply near Pelzer on highway 8 has the best prices on incubators. Most folks have better luck with the GQF Hovabator than the LG that Tractor Supply sells. If you can't find the contact info for Rogers, I think Joycats will have it.

I sure do, I get my food from them every 2 weeks. They are very nice people and have good prices on good quality food. Here is their info:
Rogers Feed and Supply
1041 Easley Hwy, Pelzer SC 29669 Ph: 864-947-6925 Hours: Mon-Fri 8 to 5 and Sat 8 to 1

I am getting 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Golden Comet, 1 Easter Egger and 1 Silver Laced Wyandott. :)

My husband thinks I am nuts, but I am hoping that I can win him over. The kids are super excited tho. And I have heard about chicken math- lol I will have to learn how to be a carpenter if that holds true with me. I'll have to learn how to build coops for myself since DH wants no part of it. :D

I love my Buff Orps and I REALLY love my EE and I miss my SLW she was AWESOME!

Kris wasn't real keen on them originally, but they won her over. then we got guineas, then more chickens, then turkeys, more turkeys coming in a few months... Hatched 6 chicks recently. up to 36 birds now, 19 turkeys ordered, and Kris is planning on starting a gold neck d'anver project soon

you might not want to share your back yard chickens password with him. he may just take it over.
