Babies First day outside(only for an hour)

Cuties....I hope I have a few gals in here!!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow, the days are getting away from me lately! We were out of town last weekend, and with the time change, I find I am not on the computer until later in the evening. I spent yesterday afternoon at my father-in-laws cleaning out the azalea beds there. They have a huge slope on the side of their yard that is full of azalea bushes. They had gotten a lot of briers in them and also a lot of saplings and weedy trees were growing between them, what began as me simply trimming back one rose bush became two hours of cleaning out those shrubs. I still have the same amount left to go, but it felt good to get them done.
Sometime in the next few weeks, Lou Ann and I have got to find time to get the run addition done. We are both gone this weekend on an office meeting, but hopefully, after that it can happen. It shouldn't take long, we just need a block of time to do it.
I hope to be back around again and catching up with everyone now. Sleep well!

Well, good morning and I hope everyone has a wonderful Saint Patty's Day weekend. I am staying as far away from Savannah as I can! Oh, and we had our first guinea egg show up day before yesterday! Not in the Coral pen yet but those girls are starting to set on their nest and check it out! It is just a matter of time....

Good Morning. Busy day here. Gvlleedh sounds like good work was done. KNow what you mean about working on runs etc. We have that to do and to repair our fence that someone took down.

This weekend is a wash with an all day class sat. so most of the work is gong to be done, Sunda and the fence will be our priority.

Have a great day.

Hello Everyone and KrisH!!

Sorry I haven't been around but ife has been crazy. But i am building my 2nd coop. getting it finished this weekend. My ducklings keep hopping out of their bin in my living room when i am at work and pooping all over. then they nestle up right next to Rebel while she is in her dog crate. lol Then i come home and they get up to greet me and run out the backdoor with the dogs. it is too funny. then as i am cleaning things up they come back in and check on me and cheep and then head back out again. thats how my days have been. But this weekend when i finish the new coop i am going to move them out into it.

boyfriend and I broke up last weekend.... :( but it was mutual and the right thing to do. Ces't la vie.

My 5 Buff Orp chicks and 1 RIR are doing well. They are 3 weeks old or so, i think, and they are getting in a lot of their feathers. they get along great with the ducklings.. But i am wondering, with the weather here, when can I move them out to the coop without a heat lamp?

Dixiebeast those blue chicks are adorable!! Sorry, I haven't caught up enough to really say much else, But I wish everyone a Happy St. Patricks day. Stay Safe!! And have a happy/productive weekend!
