i want to thank samantha for putting this together. i was wore out by the time i got home. but i did enjoy myself, and my sons enjoyed it also.for the ones that could not come i know you ought to still be kicking yourself.i met so many new friends but i cannot put them on byc with their faces. it sure alot of beautiful chickens there. glad every body liked mine.was not planning on adding anymore breeds but thanks to samantha had to have hers.and to the lady that baked that pound cake let me tell you that in its self was worth the trip.every time i walk by the cake it talks to me it tells me you still want more doncha. i cleaned out the brownnies and chocolate chip cookies and brownnies did not make it to columbia

I'm sorry Patsy I didn't see your post until just now. LOL.. Guess I'll just have to find someway to stop the DH chicken habit LOL. In all honesty though, I don't know who's worse the DH, My oldest daughter, or me. We have all caught the chicken fever.. There are just so many different breeds and stuff we see that we would love to add to our small farm (even though it won't be small after we get done adding all these newbies LOL) It's all good though, my daughter is happy because she finally got the ducks she's been wanting since we even talked about starting a backyard farm. So all in all it was well worth it.

I just wanted to say I hope everyone has a safe trip to and from Chickenstock and have a good time while they are there. Wish we could have went, but things just didn't work out for us this year. You can definitely count on us making next years for sure though. On the brighter side DH, our oldest daughter, and I had a really awesome day today. We went to Big Oaks Rescue in Greenwood and volunteered our time and hung out with the amazing animals they have there. We really enjoyed ourselves and made some nice new friends while we were there. It was really nice to be able to volunteer our time to help them out. So overall it was a great day!

I am pre-packed too! Dixiebeast is making me meet faaarrrr sooner than I ever would have thought I would be up...pre-chicken Mom!!! LOLOL I can't wait to get there and see everyone!!! I will be the sleepy-head hanging off the chair behind my energetic daughter!!! LMBO!!!

I am bringing a few young Dorking Roos, A pair of EE/Amer, and some EE/amer chicks! I will have a dozen true Wheaton Ameraucana hatching eggs...yep, just one dozen...very few quality hens and a roo there I am loving!!! Dixiebeast is bringing so many awesome things!!!

That is so awesome for you to dedicate your time as a family like that! We all will surely miss you guys/gals tomorrow! Have a great day/week-end together...I feel you all usually do have great times together!!! You guys are a beautiful family and I look forward to getting to know you all better!!!
