South Central Pennsylvania Poultry Butcher

I've been searching and searching and here is where my search hopefully ends. I am in south central Pennsylvania, Adams county. I need a butcher for 50 chickens and 6 turkeys. So, South central pa folks, who are yo using to butcher your meat birds? Thanks in advance - Jamie

Try Weavers in New Oxford. Not Weavers of Wellsville.

Stonypoint in Littlestown.

Shrivers in Emmitsburg

Butcher Block in Biglerville maybe. I have not dealt with them before though.

reichart's will probably have a waiting list. Not sure if they ar elittlestown or Gettysburg as they are on the border, but worth a call.

Should be some Adams County teenagers willing to do it, or us adults can always work for beer.

I did check with Stoneypoint but they don't do poultry of any kind. I'll call the rest of your suggestions today. Thanks for the direction!

Ok. I knew Stoneypoint did hogs and steers, shame they don't do poultry to. They sell it in their deli case.

Hopefully you had more luck with the others. Shrivers and Reicharts do up our steers, but I've never had to have poultry done before.
