Southern 101---Explanation of all things Southern

THere's not much more amusing/aggrivating a sound than a non-Southerner trying to talk Southern.

My Husband had to clue in my step FIL that he wasn't being funny, he sounded offensive.

When it's done really badly it sounds like we're being made fun of.

I always heard it as "Yer Mommer n' them."
